Women, all over the world  have been victim of violence. The grounds behind the violence against women are sexual inequality which holds its roots in the mind of masses. Although women play important role in society same like men but our society still doesn’t give equal rights to women. Not even developed countries eradicate this kind of thing from their societies.

Violence can be in many form like physical violence, emotional violence, sexual violence, verbal violence or psychological violence. However, this kind of violence always ruins the life of women.

It has been a common saying that our society is dominated by male. But why? We all human being are same but still women used to face this inequity. Women also have their self esteem but this violence has crushed their self esteem very brutally, that some of women hates to see their existence. They can’t take decision by their own because their family environment doesn’t allow them to do this. They are always dependent upon their fathers, brothers and husbands. Why? They don’t have right to live their own life? They hurt from abusive behavior of their husband but could not say any word to them.

Not even at home we can see this difference and violence in work places too, she doesn’t get respect as working women, but one should not forget this bitter fact that women have more potential then men. They can work, they can run their houses effectively because they have potential to prove themselves. They are not weak.

Now Avon starts one campaign that is “Avon’s speak out against domestic Violence program.” This program allows them to speak up against domestic or any type of violence. The main aim of this program is to save lives of women. So as a woman it is your duty if you see any woman who is victim of violence raises your voice because someone will listen you and will help you.

On 5th of November 2010, Nexia Holdings launched a new entertainment company with the name Redline Entertainment Incorporation. Redline Entertainment Incorporation has been formed by Nexia Holdings to aid filmmakers in procuring distribution rights for their independent movies and films. Redline entertainment has also planned that in certain instances, it shall not hesitate to collaborate with certain partners as distribution agents for foreign markets as it did in the case of “The Kane Files” by appointing Highland Entertainment. The motto of the company behind gaining the distribution rights of films such “The Kane Files” is to formulate an extra source for generation of revenue by allowing an outside distribution company to perform the same functions and at the same time maintaining an effective control over the income from distribution.

The formation of Redline Entertainment Incorporation was a method to maintain an effective control over the properties of Revel Entertainment and at the same time give way to additional revenue through aiding independent filmmakers with their distribution process. In addition, through this method Revel Entertainment will be allowed to make potential savings on the distribution costs of the films produced by the company.

However, to make the competition more exciting Food Network is now going to the next level by introducing Chef Robert Irvine to the show. Hence, the Worst Cooks in America Season 2 will be a competition between two top chefs of America. The reality show is also well known for its comic nature and therefore it is liked by all ages. The prize winner will get $25,000 along with the Kitchen Hero title. In the previous season, Anne Burrell’s Red Team won the competition. However, things can change this time as Chef Robert Irvine is confident that he can win the title.

The reality show goes on for eight weeks where worst chefs from all walks of life participate in the game based on the nominations provided by their family members and friends. They will then have to understand the concept of cooking different types of cuisine from their lead chef. Team recruits from both the teams then have to go through Skill Drill test and Main challenge where their skills and patience is tested. The worst cook walks out of the competition and the winner gets to earn a point for the team. Worst Cooks in America has already been voted as one of the highest rated shows in the history of Food Network.

Since 2005, a team of internal architects and interior designers have been working on this project. This team was selected through a multiyear process which included qualitative surveys, market research and guest focus groups. The rigor of the selection process has resulted in a brilliant new exterior façade for this chain of restaurants. A tall stone tower greets the guests as ship lights illuminate Adirondack chairs strewn about. The unique window decals spell out the food in store for the guests. A new signage dominates the entrance with an evolved lobster and an emphasis of the fresh fish and live lobster which are the specialties of the restaurant. Anyone would want to sit down and chat in this atmosphere, and that is precisely the aim of the restaurant – to increase mingling among the guests to spread hearty cheer all over the restaurant.

The inside of the restaurant gets wood paneling and a sea inspired décor- signal flags and sea themed paintings. With a price range which starts from $8.99, the restaurant pleases not only the palate of the well off but also those on a budget. The Red Lobster is a restaurant for all!

Of course, the United Way of National Capital Area is in need of help too. Without people like you and me, who work day & night for living a pleasurable life, these charities can’t help by themselves. They don’t need a Bill Gates, or Warren Buffet type of amount to be donated. They just need you to contribute your best to this charity. If you do, you’re helping a child get good education. It’s the best anyone could to do help a kid.

Just imagine the amount of money they could spend on children’s education if each of us contributes even the littlest amount possible. We could make the society a better place and see happiness in many children’s faces.

The United Way of National Capital Area has been taking surveys for a long time and hosting discussions regarding different aspects of collecting funds and helping children. Even if you’re not able to contribute monetarily, you could host a discussion, talk on various topics and even teach those children and educate them with something useful.

What is the new survey about?

The new survey has gone in detail about how information overload is a major problem that reduces performance of workers and professionals in a workplace. It’s pretty interesting as over 1,700 workers agree to the fact that information overload is becoming a major disturbance in their workplace. The more information (technical, rumor, un-official & work based) that flows from each person is making them distracted. It’s because they’re either too interested in the info that they keep talking about it, or because it’s a disturbing news to them. This is called the gossip chain in the manage jargon.
The survey has been conducted in 5 major countries – The USA, UK, South Africa, China and Australia and workers from all these countries have agreed on one thing – information overload is definitely a problem that reduces the workplace productivity & performance.

Now think about yourself. Do you get distracted during work? What is the reason? Is it because of just another fight with your spouse / girlfriend, or is it because of financial matters? If these personal problems are the reasons, then you have nothing to worry about. If you’re getting distracted because people in your workplace keep talking about something or the other, then you’ve got to really do something about that if you want your next promotion.
